Ceara supporters were shot to death by rival fans when they travelled to a test event at a World Cup stadium in Fortaleza yesterday

Two fans were killed in a shooting yesterday when they were on their way to the match between Ceara and Fortaleza at 2014 World Cup stadium Castelao, the match which served as a test event for the Confederations Cup this summer.
 The Ceara supporters were shot in the head after being confrontation by Fortaleza fans about five kilometers from the stadium, witnesses telling police the victims were on their way to the stadium when rival fans on a motorcycle opened fire.
Authorities later detained a man on a motorcycle near the crime scene who allegedly carried a gun, but no details about the suspect's identity have been released as of yesterday.
